A Knight's Code
Being a Knight is more than a profession, more than a choice. It is a state of being. You cannot pick and choose when to be a Knight, you just are. There is honor in being a Knight, but there is also hardship.
It is about always being on the side of the right, and the just. Not just when it suits you, or furthers your gains. Taking a hard stand even when no one else will. Backing the underdog, and taking up a lost fight. Putting aside your desires, for the greater good.
It is defending those unable to do so themselves. You become their shield, to stave off the evils of this world, and their sword, to write the wrongs, and their armor, to give of yourself so that they might live another night. When things become desperate, you are their inspiration, when all seems bleak, you are their confidence, and when despair takes them, you are their hope.
